FounderCalc is a small, independently run site maintained by one person. If you've found a bug, spotted a figure that's out of date, have a suggestion for a new calculator, or have a question about how something works, I'd like to hear from you.

Every message gets read. As a one-person project I can't always reply individually, but reports that identify a concrete problem are acted on — and corrections take priority over everything else on the list.
Reporting a wrong result
This is the most useful kind of message to send, and the easiest to act on when it includes the specifics. Please include:
- The tool, ideally as a link to its page.
- The exact numbers you entered. Most calculators have a "Share results" button that copies a URL with your inputs already filled in — pasting that link is the fastest way to show me precisely what you saw.
- The result you got, and the result you expected.
- Why you expected it, if there's a source — a provider's pricing page, an invoice, a textbook formula. This matters when a metric has more than one accepted definition, which is often the reason two figures disagree.
Reporting an out-of-date fee or rate
Processor fees and tax rates change, and this site quotes a lot of them. If a published rate here no longer matches the provider's own pricing page, send the link to that page and it will be corrected.
Reporting a bug
For something that behaves wrongly rather than calculates wrongly — a control that won't accept input, a layout that breaks, a result that won't copy — it helps to include:
- The tool you were using and a link to its page
- What you expected to happen, and what happened instead
- Your browser and version, and your operating system
- Whether it happens consistently or only sometimes
Suggesting a calculator
Most of the tools on this site started as someone's specific, recurring annoyance. If you're repeatedly doing the same arithmetic in a spreadsheet, describe the calculation and what decision you use it for. Suggestions that explain the underlying problem are far more likely to turn into a good tool than a bare request for a name.
