Summary
FounderCalc's calculators (Stripe fees, MRR, LTV/CAC, runway, profit margin, freelance rates, and more) run entirely in your browser. Numbers or data you enter into a calculator are processed locally using JavaScript and are never transmitted to, or stored on, our servers.
This page explains what limited information our web server and any advertising partners may collect when you visit the site.
Server logs
Like virtually all websites, our web server automatically records standard technical information for each request, including:
- The page requested and the time of the request
- Your browser's user agent string
- A truncated/anonymized form of your IP address
- The referring page, if any
These logs are used solely to understand aggregate traffic (e.g. which tools are popular, whether the site is working correctly) and to detect abuse. They are not linked to any account, because no accounts exist, and are periodically deleted.
Cookies and advertising
This site is monetised by display advertising served by Google AdSense. Wherever an ad is shown, Google and its advertising partners use cookies and similar technologies to serve and measure it, and — where you have consented to it — to personalise it based on your visits to this and other sites.
Advertising is not live on every page at all times: while the AdSense account is under review no ad units render, and on those pages no advertising cookie is set and no consent message is shown, because there is nothing to consent to.

- You can review and change your personalisation settings at any time at Google Ads Settings, and opt out of personalised advertising from participating vendors at YourAdChoices or Your Online Choices in the EU.
Consent in the EEA, UK and Switzerland
Wherever advertising is active, visitors from the EEA, the UK and Switzerland are shown a consent message, provided through Google Funding Choices (an IAB TCF-registered consent platform), before any non-essential cookie is set. You can accept or refuse personalised advertising there, and you can reopen that choice at any time using the Privacy & ad settings control in the page footer, which appears alongside that consent message. Refusing does not restrict access to any calculator on this site — the tools work identically either way, since none of them depend on advertising or cookies to compute a result.
No advertising cookie is set before that choice is made.
Other third-party services
- Cloudflare hosts and delivers the site. It processes connection data (including your IP address) to serve pages and to protect the site from abuse — see Cloudflare's privacy policy.
- Formspree handles submissions if you choose to enter your email address in the optional newsletter form. Your address is sent to Formspree only when you submit that form, and is used only to send the newsletter you asked for — see Formspree's privacy policy.
Nothing you type into a calculator is ever sent to any of these services.
Data you enter into tools
Every calculator on FounderCalc processes your input locally in your browser. Nothing you type into a calculator is sent to FounderCalc's servers, stored, or shared with any third party.

Some pages may link to external resources for further reading. FounderCalc is not responsible for the privacy practices of external sites.
Your rights
The site is published from France, so the GDPR applies to personal data processed here. You have the right to request access to, correction of, or erasure of personal data relating to you, to object to or restrict its processing, and to withdraw consent to advertising cookies at any time (see above). Because this site holds no accounts and stores nothing you enter into a calculator, in practice the only personal data connected to you is what appears in server logs and, if you submitted it, a newsletter email address.
To make a request, or to complain about how data is handled, use the contact page. Publisher details are on the legal notice page. If you are in the EU you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority — in France, the CNIL.
Children
This site is aimed at people running businesses and is not directed at children under 16. No personal data is knowingly collected from them.
